Deirdre from Dublin and Tom from Wales, were married in the stunning Church of the Immaculate Conception in Clonakilty town this summer during an easing in the covid restrictions. I'm sure the numbers were not what they had hoped but the rest of the day was just magic.
It was a stunning summer's day towards the end of August, and after the morning prep and ceremony (and a few quick 99's), we were straight back to the Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa for some photographs over looking the ocean and on the beach. The tide was way out and the beach was quiet so I was able to use the full advantage of the vast space. Deirdre's family has connections to the area having been coming here for summers since she was young, so it was lovely to see her family and friends all gathered again for such a wonderful celebration.
